(2:18) Nicole introduces the gospel passage for the upcoming Sunday in which the apostles are invited by Jesus to walk on water, the upcoming Memorial of St. Maximilian Kolbe, and the upcoming holy day of obligation for the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She says the hosts will talk about ways to celebrate important days within your faith culture and the culture of your own family.

(3:50) Rakhi says these days are the perfect opportunity to live a rich, joyful life in Christ. Nicole says this Sunday is about how Jesus invites us to be close to him even when life gets stormy.

(13:05) Nicole shares how she celebrates the Assumption with her kids. Rakhi says that we celebrate these moments the Church gives us to remember the joy that exists in being Jesus’ children.

(16:12) Nicole says the challenge this week is to find some way to celebrate to help your family enter the culture of the faith and find a way to make that part of your family’s culture. Rakhi says to think about what your family culture is and what you’d like it to be.
